ball setting for your opponent

Skilled player are able to master this white ball setting technique. It’s critical because it determines your next step’s fate. Many professional players use it in tournament because it will not only help to locate easier spot for next shot, it also allows player to set ball into harder situation for his opponent. Here’s how it works, you need to plan ahead after the red ball is dropped into the pocket holes, so lets say the black ball is your next target. After shooting the red ball your white ball must roll near to black ball so you can perform almost straight shot and then continue to plan next red ball ahead so on and so on.

different point mean different direction

Once you master this you can gain full control over the table, its so powerful where you get to control where the white ball is going. Prevents white ball dropping off to the pockets is another advantage. Here’s how to shoot the white ball. Imagine the ball’s surface with a clock where 3 oclock is right, 9 oclock is left and 12oclock 6 oclock at top and bottom. Shooting at 12 oclock means shooting follow, the white ball will continue to roll towards the direction even when hit, so it will roll very far. Hitting at the bottom means your white ball will stop on the spot where it hits the red ball. So if that’s the perfect location then shoot like this, if you perform more powerful shot using this, the ball will roll backwards upon impact where power determine the traveling distance. Okay lets talk about 3 oclock, hitting 3 oclock on the white ball lead to right direction upon impact. Try this yourself, shoot a ball to the cushion straight on 3 oclock point and upon impact on the table cushion, the ball will spin to right direction instead of coming back straight. You will get what I mean. Vice versa for 9oclock point.
