• Open Question: I am trying to remove the default calendar from my iphone?

  I have downloaded an organizer google calendar app that syncs with google calendar. And it is reminding me of my events only through the default calendar. Is there a way that I can remove the default calendar so that it does not pick up on the google calendar sync so that I can use the app that I paid for. Is there a setting to or something that I am able to turn off. - 17 hours ago

• Open Question: Can one sync Outlook using Gmail's ActiveSync support rather than IMAP?

  Gmail (or at least Google Apps Email, which is what I use) now supports Activesync so that it appears like an Exchange server to mobile devices like my iPhone. It works great. I would much rather that my desktop Outlook synced via this method as well, so that my contacts and calendar would sync, I'd get push notifications of new email, and all of the other things that ActiveSync supports that pure IMAP does not. I'm aware of the Google sync app for calendar, but even so ActiveSync would be sooooo much better. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out which way to turn the knobs in my email profile to get Outlook to recognize Gmail as if it were an Exchange server. Since ActiveSync support is there, I'm assuming there's got to be a way. Has anyone managed to do it? Thanks! - 2 days ago

• Open Question: Google Calendar on HTC S710?

  I have synced my google calendar to my HTC S719 no problem, what I want to do is link this to the calendar built into the phone so as the home screen will show upcoming events. At the moment the home screen will only show the appointments in the built in Calendar, ideally I want this to show my appointments from the google calendar. Any ideas? • Open Question: On my Droid, why can't I see the Address on a Google Calendar event?

  On my Droid, why can't I see the directions, or look up Directions from a Google Calendar event? Events on my Google Calendar app don't show any address, even when the event does have an address recorded. If I go into the event's options (in Droid), the "Where" text field shows as empty, even for an event with an address recorded! What's up? - 5 days ago
