How to stop acne? What are your acne treatment options?
57How to stop acne breakout? Before I get into the most recent acne treatments that science has brought us, let’s see what treatments are available now…
Benzoyl Peroxide
This is available in the form of a cream with different levels of the solution. Users who took creams like these got results in about two months. Keep in mind that creams with this type of ingredient can dry up the skin, which is why a moisturizer is recommended to go along with it. Unlike an anti-biotic, creams which contain act as a bleach. As such, the bacteria do not develop resistance to it.
Antibiotic Pills
These pills contain either the ingedient tetracycline or erythromycin. Along with skin antibiotics (mentioned below), the acne often reappears once the treatment stops.
Antibiotics for the Skin
Antibiotic creams, quite simply, kill the bacteria, which is the root cause of the acne.
Aside from the aforementioned treatments, other techniques are available including, but not limited to, changing hormone levels, retinoids, and laser surgery.

Acne how to stop it and how to stop acne fast
One technique, which just recently got put into use is, phototherapy. It is effective in treating acne-scarred and acne-prone skin and has many benefits. Among them is that there are no known side effects and, most importantly, it is incredibly effective in getting rid of acne. Furthermore, because this new acne treatment consists of light and not antibiotics, there is no chance that the acne bacteria will become resistant to the light. It works by killing off the bacteria and can be adjusted to work with different light sources and wavelengths. Although exactly why phototherapy works is under dispute (some say it has to do with the light killing off the Propionibacterium acnes and others say that it has more to do with the suppression of Langerhans cells), it works. And that is all that acne sufferers care about. People with acne often have less of it during the summer months. What happens during the summer months? More light. As such, it is not that surprising that strong synthetic doses of it are effective in killing of bacteria. Of course, phototherapy does not involve beaming UV rays into your face, but safe wavelengths of light.
How to stop acne breakouts: Where do you get light therapy?
Where can you get a light treatment for acne? It is suggested that you go to you local dermatologist. Although the treatments won’t be expensive and are not covered by your health insurance, you should strongly consider it if you want to get rid of your acne fast. You can also try getting a home phototherapy kit. Keep in mind, however, that an acne lamp is not nearly as powerful as the phototherapy devices your dermatologist has.
So, how to stop acne? There are a lot of drugs and creams available. But, for now, light therapy seems to be a very good option.

Its always good to run away from a dangerous zone and in connection to this, we should avoid acne as much as possible. How?
You should avoid garments made exclusively of Lycra and nylon if you are prone to body acne since some synthetic fabrics can strap the heat and moisture against your skin. This creates a fertile breeding ground for the bacteria that contribute to acne.
For moderate exercise, use light weight, loose fitting cotton or a lycra-cotton blend. Natural fabrics allow the skin to breath and loose garments are less likely to cause friction. If you exercise vigorously and work up a good sweat, try some of the new fabrics designed to wink moisture away from your skin.
