How to tell someone you love them
72I saw a request in the idea bank asking for free ways to tell someone that you love them. As luck would have it, I almost never have money but have been able to keep my wife happy and content for over twenty years.
I have found that words and actions are far more powerful affirmations of your love than any gift you could buy. I will occasionally get up in the middle of the night to send a text message to my wife's phone. That makes for a pleasant suprise when she gets up for work.
On Valentines day, I may give her a collection of all the poems she has inspired me to write over the course of the year. Sometimes I will write a love letter, just because.
A simple gaze can express more emotion than many people realize. My wife always tells me she can see the love in my eyes.
I find that I can't walk past her without rubbing her back or stroking her hair. A small kiss goes a long way. A passionate one goes farther.
I think that if you truly love someone, they will know it. love is something that is nearly impossible to hide. And if they love you back, you've found heaven on earth.

so true..but seems to me some times your intensions and deeds get to be a habit..well let me speak of my relationship of 33 years. I guess I must admit it was more onesided...for the last 3 years and I failed to recognize that he was falling out of love with me.who would have guessed a younger woman tagged him. But what you say is very much from the heart and caring of a good person. Never let that get away. G-Ma :o)
