There's hope for you, you can go to any Auto store in your area to buy one. Now, you got your Repair Manual you need a Scantool or Code Reader. What's a Scantool or Code Reader? These are tools that help you talk to your vehicle. They come in different ? style, brands and have different codes. What are codes? Codes are the alph / numeric letters and or numbers you will find when you hook up the Scantool or Code Reader to your vehicle. Each code corresponds to a problem with your vehicle like PO403 could mean your Oxygen sensor malfunction. Some devices could just tell you out right what's wrong with your vehicle. The best thing I like with this ideal and you will like it too, is you don't have to buy this tool. Now, you just probably fallen out of your chair. I don't have to pay for this tool?? How??? They have all the tools for the Scantool or Code Reader like the hook-up cables and connections. Just give them the make and model of your car and or truck, plus some places may ask for a driver license just to make sure you bring back there tools. You hook up the Scantool or Code Reader to your vehicle, follow the instructions the device give for your model type vehicle, write down the code the device gives and look that code up in your Repair Manual. Is that great or What!!!, and Oh, by the way give back the Auto Shop their Scantool or Code Reader. That's it...
