How to unclog your computer.

If you have endured the pain of having to wait for your computer to unfreeze, Then you my friend have come to the right place. Here i will show you a list of processes and tools to stop your computer from clogging up and freezing. And hopefully after this you will have realised a huge difference in the performance of your computer.

In your browser Click on tools > delete private data and then choose what you wish to remove. This has options to remove files like cookies, page history and so on.

Click Start >All Programs > Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. Check the boxes you want to remove,  It also tells you how much space it will free when you remove an item.

Ccleaner This is a program that will remove unwanted files from your system, and will make a huge difference in the performance of your computer. After you have downloaded Ccleaner, check boxes:

  • Internet explorer. (Will remove files on internet explorer.)
  •  Temporary internet files.
  • Cookies.
  • History.
  • Recently typed URLs.
  • Delete index dat. files.
  • Last download location.
  • Auto complete form history.
  • Windows explorer.
  • Recent documents.
  • Run in start menu.
  • Search assistant auto complete.
  • Other explorer mrus.
  • System.
  • Empty recycle bin.
  • Temporary files.
  • Clipboard.
  • Memory dumps.
  • Chkdsk file fragments.
  • Windows log files.
  • Advanced.
  • Old prefetch data.
  • Menu order cache.
  • Tray notifications cache.
  • Window size/location cache.
  • User assist history.
  • IIS log files.
  • Hotfix uninstallers.
  • Custom files and folders.

 Remember, it will not remove important files, such as the files you have saved to your computer and work. It will only remove files that you want it to remove.

Also go to options > settings > secure file deletion > nsa 7 passes for maximum effect.
