When you sign into your Google Adsense account you get to see all your Adsense activity. “Today’s Earnings” can be seen on the Reports tab. There can be alterations in this amount depending upon the charges against invalid clicks or fees.

Looking at the breakdown of your earnings you can see, Adsense for Content is listed first. This is regarding targeted ads displayed on the pages containing related contents. Number of page impressions will be listed in its first column. A page impression is more than just a page view. You can refer to Google Adsense support to find out more about it. Now select Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.

Number of clicks is the next item. That means number of times your ads were clicked on.

Next column shows Page click through rate or CTR which means the percentage of the time an ad was clicked upon after visiting your page.

Then there is Page eCPM (effective cost per thousand impressions) which is arrived at by dividing total earnings by the number of page impressions in thousands.

You will eventually get familiar with all these statistics. After all, it is your final earnings that really matters.
