How do you fix patch holes along your drivewayagainst your house ? How do you stop unwanted weeds from growing along the side of your home ? How do you stop rain water or your water from your water hose from leaking inside your home into the basement or the base of you home from the driveway creating damage to the foundation and to your home which may paint chip or damage to your home. When you see ants scattering about and weeds growing it means water is goin into your home. Sometimes leaking can also cause damage to a room in your basement destroying the floor and created mold.These might be questions someone might ask to save money with a contractor.This is a do it your self tip that could possibly save you money and grief. Here are the things that you need.

60 40 mix you can get it from almost any hardware store.

A small bowl

Putty Knife(paint scraper)

bucket

something to stir the mix with(strong stick or use the putty knife or paint scrapper)

gloves

water hose

First you open your bag of 60 40 mix, make sure you don't use to much water , turn the water hose on low slow it down to almost a drip. Take the bowl and dip it into the bag of 60 40 mix and dump it into the bucket make sure you mix what you need or you will have to find some other home improvement job to use the rest of your mix on. You can always add more water and mix, mixed your 60 40 and water to it suits your need for you home improvement project. Take the putty knife or paint scrapper and apply to the line along the house in the driveway. You can apply it thick yif you like but sometimes neatness counts so it dosen become an eye sore before the 60 40 mix dries. So take the putty knife or paint scrapper and push the 60 40 mix after you aplly it to thin out the extras. You can alsway find another tool that can make it easier for you to apply the 60 40 mix to suit your needs.
