1.Use the site you are buying from, and make sure it is a reliable and well known site.

2. Use Paypal...that is a secure site, but make sure you don't answer any spoof emails..you get a few about paypal. I always check with paypal before answering a Paypal email, but the site itself is good.

3.Don't use any add-on sites, or save money sites...just the reputable sites.

4.Only use your credit card, not anybody elses..that is asking for trouble.

5. Don't purchase dodgy items, and keep away from the sex and sleazy sites...they are not the ones you should be sending your credit card to, and if you do, then you may get ripped off and its your fault.

6. Don't purchase anything from a spam site...they are dodgy too, or can be. Avoid spammers like a disease. They do not save you anything, and they are silly enough to send spam, and they need avoiding not encouraging. Avoid them like the plague.

7. Purchase with confidence from a reliable, well known brand site, and you will be Ok. I got caught with Corel...never got the product and will never forgive them either for that confidence trick...Make sure you have a reliable site before you purchase...even I got caught for not checking that I had a genuine site. They got the payment, and I didn't get the product.
