Step One

First you need to have an atm card. In order to obtain an atm card you must be an account holder of a checking account that issues atm cards. If you happen to have a checking account, contact the bank where the account is held and ask if they offer atm cards.

Step Two

Keep an eye out for transaction fees. Unfortunately, some atm card holders pay transaction fees for every withdrawal unlike some who get rebates. In the situation where you pay transaction fees for trans actions, try to withdraw money from your local branch where it would be free. If not, try to go to an atm that charges a low rate.

Step Three

Make sure that when you make your way to the atm that you have your atm card with you. Make sure that nobody is around you because safety is first. In addition, make sure that you remember your pin number when it is necessary to enter it.

Step Four

Assuming that you are in front of the atm, either insert your card or swipe it. After doing so, make sure you enter your pin number. Then, proceed by clicking the “checking account” option instead of savings.

Step Five

Enter the amount that you wish to withdraw. On the other hand, if you want to withdraw a predetermined amount such as the “fast cash” option, that is an opportunity to quicken your transaction.

Step Six

After you receive the money place it in your wallet or in your pocket.
