If you are trying to get your ex boyfriend back then it's realistic for you to be upset right now. Break-up's are never easy and it's even worse if you are still in love with your ex boyfriend (no matter who did the breaking up). But you need to pull yourself together if you want any hope of getting back together.

The first step is to determine the reason for the break up. Whether it was a sudden decision on your part to break-up or the problems in the relationship had been growing over time you need to really look at why the relationship failed objectively without blame. Sometimes it could be that all that is needed is a good apology. If that's the case then stay calm and go and see him (or better still - arrange to meet him somewhere neutral like a coffee shop). Explain that you have had time to think things over and you want to try and work things out. If he did something, tell him he is forgiven, if it was your fault then say sorry - and mean it. After a month or so of improving yourself, you will be in a great position to try and win him back again.  Time will be on your side this time as well, and you'll be calmer and more rational when you talk with him.  And he'll see that you have changed and grown up to be a more emotionally mature and fun girl to be with.
