There are many ways you can make money on ebay,these are a few ways to making a successful business and profit on ebay. Below are some tips on starting a buisness or sell by yourself with ebay.

• Ebay is an international market, where regular people sell their unwanted things for money. Sometimes you can find items for very cheap and resell them for a higher price. For example if there is an auction ending for an Itouch and the price is $75 +shipping you should buy it. After buying the Itouch you can either relist the item or you can sell it to a friend,store for regular or a little lower than regular price. If you buy the ipod online for $75 dollars and resell it for $250 you are making $175.

• A good way to make money on Ebay is by selling hard-to-find items. There are many stores like Century 21, Marshalls, Aj Wright who sell name brand items for a discount. What you can do is buy these desirable items and sell them for more on ebay. For ex, a Polo Ralph Lauren Shirt at Marshalls can be bought at a price range of $15-$20. You can sell the same shirt again for $30 or $35 on Ebay. Basically you buy cheap named brand items on discount and you resell them on ebay for a profit.
• A good way to start off using Ebay, is by looking around the house for things you dont use or desire. You can sell these items on Ebay for a profit and then move on to sell your friend's items, your neighbors items etc... You will need to keep cost at low first, so selling items that you already own and do not need will keep our cost at zero and boost your profit. After gaining this profit, you are ready to buy and resell items. Buying and Reselling items is a little risky but a lot more profitable then just selling old junk.
  
• You can either work for yourself or get some help from manufacturers. You should get a sales tax number or a business license(if your state does not have sales tax). By doing this you can contact the manufacturers and buy their items for a lot cheaper from the factory. For ex, if you want to sell Ipods, you can contact Apple and buy their items on wholesale and resell them on ebay for regular price. You can actually start a small business and grow by buying from manufacturers.
• When listing an item, describe only the facts about it, like model number, brand,,color. Do not try to describe it with empty sales pitches(this will make the buyer think your desperate to make a profit. Also do not exaggerate by calling your item "rare" or "best". By listing facts, this will keep serious buyers on your hook. Listing facts and keeping description general will alow buyers to find your item easily with the search engine on google.
• Try to keep your feedback as high as possible. Avoid getting negative feedback. Having good feedback will build trust among the ebay community.
• Good Feedback indicates that you pay fast, ship fast, that you are trustworthy and that you are not only in it for the money. You need to build trust and you need to gain potential clients, you never know if someone will come back for more.
• By becoming and ebayer with good feedback, you are most likely to be reccomended by the people you deal with. You will gain more clients and you will gain better feedback.
• A good way to gain easy feedback, is to buy inexpensive items just for the feedback. Once you have good feedback you can start listing your items.
• Develop an ebay store, by developing an ebay store with your ebay account you will gain more trust,clients and you will look for organized and formal.
• If you have items that are very rare and that will sell for a lot of money, dont be afraid to spend an extra $19 to put it in the front page of listings. If you know you will make a lot of money, why not sacrifice a little?

Keep in mind that you need an ebay account to bid, and for payment it is best in my experience to use paypal. You will need a creditcard! You also need to be 18 years old to bid! Ask your parents if you are under 18!Also dont forget to leave feedback for the person after you receive the item and the transaction is over. Another way to make money with ebay, is by adding their affiliate program to your blog, hub or page. You will advertise on your page and gain money if you get traffic and clicks on the ads. If you have a blog or hub you should definetly add this feature.
