HAVE YOU EVER SEEN SOMEONE sweat and gurn their way to planet paranoia after caning too many hallucinogens and wondered what you should do? wonder no more with this guide.

First, try and find out what the person has taken, I know this can be easier said than down but what could seem like a simple case of a trip gone wrong could be the start of a reaction to something serious.

Call for medical help immediately if you have any doubts at all. Try to monitor there breathing and heart rate at all times.

Things like LSD and magic mushrooms can artificaly induce psychosis, which means you lose all touch with reality, consequently, to an observer a person can appear crazy but this state will evaporate once the drug has worn off.

Never laugh when someone says there going to die, or a giant teddy bear is chasing them, or if you must , pretend to hide it, also be prepared to listen to a lot of crazy talk, this will also wear off but could last up to 12 hours.

Explain that what is happening is not real, and concentrate on bringing them back to straight thinking by telling them that they are safe and this drug will wear off and they will definitely not die.

Try to offer drinks such as tea, orange juice or anything to bring there sugar level back up. Even if they don't feel like eating suggest eating food like a small snack like a sandwich or apple.

Try to keep them in a quiet place away from loud noises, lots of people or flashing light. Make sure they are in a nice calming place with soothing music. and get them to lay on there side in bed if you can.

The color of a room can make all the difference. Light green and blue rooms have a good calming effect. Massaging them gently is another option but is the person gets even more agitated don't push them. They may not feel very cooperative.

If things get too serious and violent, keep as far away from them as possible but close enough to stop them from doing something dangerous which could even be trying to take there own life with a kitchen knife so be on your guard.

Hopefully the medical officers will have now arrived who will administer a lliquid cosh, which is a sedative which is a drug injected to calm them down..

A mix of mostly sensible advice and some very bad advice. Treating a bad trip with sedatives is very common in emergency departments but it is a terrible idea. While it is safe enough from a physical standpoint where LSD or other indole psychedelics are concerned, it is commonly reported to increase the likelihood of long-term ill-effects. But it can result in deathn when it is done with a person who is bad tripping on PCP or a number of other dissociative drugs and these are the drugs that are most likely to be involved in bad trips that produce beligerent or aggressive behavior.

What more can i say except the goverment tell us eating lots of fish is good for us and then the next month only in moderation!! surely It should be a matter of choice under individual circumstances weather sedatives should be administedred!!

i had a horrible trip on a mix of lsd and mushrooms u just gotta fight through it you may feel very terrified but i just kept telling myself its the drugs it didnt help but at leat i knew it was gonna go away and wasnt going to die so i waited it out and it took like 2 days to fully recover but as long as your on safe psychadelics you can usually deal with it all a bad trip is that you dont understand yourself so these psychadelics bring your personality out and you take a tour around your brain and your brain is very powerful and some arnt ready to take that trip
