The key is patience
A perfect stunlock requires a lot of practice and more importantly requires a lot of patience on the part of the rogue. Stunlocks are not the function of a rogue by any means. They are, however, an important tool especially in group vs. group combat.
Here is the sequence for a perfect rogue stunlock in World of Warcraft. It should be noted that deadly poison will make a stunlock impossible, since the dot ticks will break saps, blinds and gouges. 1. Open with a cheap shot. If this misses, the rogue should vanish and try again later. Pushing a bad opener usually results in a loss for the rogue. 2. A cheap shot will give the rogue time for one combo point, so a sinister strike should be used before the cheap shot wears off. 3. The next attack will be a three or four-point kidney shot, which will give the rogue time for one more sinister strike before changing sides.4. Before the kidney shot wears off, the rogue should move in front of their opponent and gouge. Combat rogues will find this gouge will give them a choice of how to continue. Non-combat rogues have only one choice.5. From the gouge, the combat rogue will have time to drop combat and restealth. Non-combat rogues have to burn their blind here so they can restealth. 6. Both rogue builds, once re-stealthed, should sap their opponent in order to reset their attack cooldowns.7. From here, the rogue can cheap shot and start building combo points again, going from steps one through four. 8. Once their opponent has been re-gouged, non-combat rogues will have to vanish in order to start the sequence again. Combat rogues should use their blind here, wait for combat to drop, then restealth.9. The rogue should continue from steps one and two this time, but replace the kidney shot in step three with eviscerate. 10. If 15 combo points isn't enough to defeat your opponent, form a raid party and come back when the instance timer resets, or just wait until you're at least half your opponent's level.

Backstab uses 60 energy...I use Hemo...35 energy.
Use Sinister that is cheap at energy and give 1 combo, we need that for kiddney shot and thats is the best way for combo points.
This stunlock is poor.
I won't tell you my stunlock, but I'll tel you what it contains;) I have 120 energy and i can do 10 sec whole time atackable (no Gauge) stunlock. Than Blind and Sap to restelth and againd 10 sec full attack. All hits go on enemy's back:) And the coolest thing of all... During both stunlocks I can put 2 Ambushes and one Backstab:)
This stunlock kills every cloth, lether and mail wearer and 75% plate wearers without leting them to do anything. Of course, trinkets and stun-breaking abilities can wste it.
tirri ur such a nub?
lolz u aint gunna tell ppl wot ur chhain is cuz... its bullshit, noob!
How do you "Drop Combat" in step 5?
Pvp combat drops after a few seconds of non-fighting
so all u need 2 b a combat rogue is to have most points in that talent tree right? so the combat drops after a few seconds?
Try getting about 41 points in the combat tree :p the rest can all go to Sub ( for hemo and prep and stealth detection blah blah).
But my rogue is mace/mace (Vulmir the Northern Tempest +65 AP x2).
Just spam hemo (about 3 times) when u got someone in a cheap shot then go into a kidney shot then hit with hemo like once or twice. After that just blind them and wait for your kidney to cooldown. When it coolsdown go back in with cheap shot then spam hemo again..... thats good against almost all classes.
But against a paladin (can either be holy or ret) dont start with a cheap shot. Instead try garrote. after the garrote, spam hemo like twice then use Cloak of the Shadows to resist the hammer or repetence :p without those stuns theyre useless. Just disarm them after cloak of the shadows. Kick when healing :p
I know what im doing :p i got 12k kills

man...
I love it but...
don't do sinister s.! we stun! do backstab! remember that your enemy is stunned. =)
another thing... blind cool-down will not be ready so soon... and vanish and wait is good against any enemy that don't have 100% mount or cant buff (paladin) or cant heal....
I suggest that you need to kill him after the first blind...
you can use renataki's amulet to do a extra backstab and take an extra 1200hp of the enemy at the end of the stun... and do eviscerate after that extra backstab..
I guarantee that you take an extra 2500 hp!
