Eat less, sweat more and look better

Weight seems to be the constant struggle for most of us in our lives. Regardless if we want to be bigger, smaller or are just fighting those last few pounds off, we want to become what we are not.

If you are in the process of wanting to loose a few extra pounds, then allow me to give you some very basic tips to achieve weightloss without the pills.

Rule # 1: Eat less and sweat more

Really a very basic equation if you want to be honest. You don't have to cut entire food groups out, nor should you, to loose weights. What you do have to do is practice basic portion control. A healthy portion size is about the size of your palm. By eating with a cautious effort you are cutting back on calories. Cut your intake by about 1/4 and increase your output of calories by exercising, walking or otherwise staying active by the same 1/4. You now have effortlessly made a big step in the right direction.

Rule #2: Make sure you have Protein.

Protein is one of those things your body needs to loose weight. Especially in woman. Find out how much Protein your body requires to aid you in loosing weight and then make certain your body gets that amount of Protein.

Rule #3: Don't starve yourself.

Sounds foolish, but isn't. When your body believes it is starving, it will start hording fat too help you over the dead period. If you feed your body regularly and give it enough until you are full, it will sense that it won't need to horde and will start burning the fat.

Rule #4: Eat 5 times a day, in small portions.

The Keyword is SMALL. Eat a healthy breakfast, a small snack, a medium sized Lunch, a small snack and then a smallish Dinner. Try to avoid eating 4 hours before you go to sleep. Your Dinner should be the lightest of the 3 major meals. If you can cut your calorie intake by just as much as 500 calories a day, you can loose 1 lb.

Rule# 5: Loose your weight at a healthy rate.

By loosing about 2 lbs a week you are not making record breaking news, but research has shown that those who loose their weight naturally, at a rate of about 2 lbs a week, had a better chance of keeping it off.

There is no such thing as a healthy, risk free, easy fix. If you want to loose weight then do it as healthy as you can. By implementing healthy eating habits instead of popping pills you have won half the battle.
