Using a microphone is really simple if you have a PC with speakers. First off, if the microphone does come with any CD installments (most don't), make sure you install the CD first. After that you will need a recording program to use with your microphone. A great program that I know of is called Audacity. You should be able to get it by simply doing a Google search on it. The Windows OS comes with a sound recorder, but it only lets you record for one minute. I don't think that it's enough for anybody. I would suggest that you get Audacity.

After you get all your set up, you should be ready to record. Here are some steps one how to do it:

1) Simply plug the microphone jack into a pink jack with a microphone sign on it.

2) Test your microphone, by turning on your speakers and see if you can hear yourself

3) When you are ready to record, open Audacity and click the record button.

Recording should be simply and easy to do if you have the right equipment. I hope this helps.
