To begin my guide to cheap hotels in Orlando Florida, what better place to start than in the actual hotel my family and I stayed in when we visited in June 2005 for a two week vacation.

Personal Review

We stayed in room 236, the room consisted of 2 double beds,a free tv, telephone,kitchen with a fridge a kettle and a free to use safe and an on-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

Although basic the room was comfortable and very clean and it was cleaned every day, the staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to get you what you needed.A free Continental Breakfast is also on offer to guests which sets you up for your busy day.

The hotel is slap bang in the middle of International Drive.so you dont need to go far to find a restraunt, shop or any of the attractions, the hotel also offers a free coach service to all of the theme parks.

All in all my family and I had a wonderful time and would stay there any time, I reccomend the Howard Johnson Inn to all of my friends that are planning a trip to Orlando and they have all come back speaking highly of their stay.
