Marriage begins properly after your wedding. I see marriage in two phases: pre wedding and post wedding. You and your spouse have to consciously walk into the second phase of marriage and make enduring plans to make it work. Having done that, you need to make plans for your wedding anniversary. Anniversary has a way of revitalizing your marriage. It brings back the good memories of your good days when you were younger. Anniversary brings out the best of you and will make you appreciate your spouse better.

Recently, a couple I knew very well and the man happen to be the chairman of the organisation were I once worked, celebrated their 50 golden years of marriage. I tell you, it was wholesome. They have gotten their grand children and great grand children - all were in attendance at the anniversary.
