Hub Trek - The Next "Generation" - Users Manual (lot's of illustrations)

Welcome Hubers of the world. I like to think I bring some interesting and Unique perspectives to the Hubpages.com community of hubs and feeling a bit bored of the same old thing.

I decided to write a hub that networked other's creativity (movies inserted here) and some of my own.

This hub is meant to parody the HubPages life style (from my perspective), and to make you bust a gut laughing as you read the parody's. I got the idea when I was searching for something a couple days back and landed on a Star Trek parody page that someone created with movie stills from the series (original) star trek.

I was going to make a hub with these but I felt the pictures were great but the sayings were as juvenile as many think "trekkers" fans are, so I decided to bring more dignity to these pictures and highlight some of HubPages fun in the process.

In the spirit of fun I generated a new parody of the old star trek opening (where Kirk says, this is the starship enterprise, its five year mission to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go... and so on) and to make one for HubPages. We are on a Hub Trek of a sort too you know..

HubPages, the final frontier. (Hub site whooshes by through fiber optic cable) These are the writings of the Hub ship Monetize. Its five tier mission: to explore strange new worlds; to seek out internet life and new Innovation; to boldly go where no hub has gone before. (Insert Music)

So sit back and enjoy the pictures, watch the movies and please.. Put the soda down before viewing. Unless you need caffeine through the nose cleansing that is.

We start with the movie I just couldn't resist using as the opening music.. Star Trek The Next Generations theme Song although in this series opener I've found someone used the show "Dallas" theme song and built a movie to make this open like that show.. Very cool and funny to watch!!

Everything seems fine. You just finished a long but highly stimulating hub complete with images that you know will knock their socks off. "Wow", you think

"This is one of the most amazing hubs I've ever built!"

You look it over one more time just to make sure the spelling is right, and in quickly reviewing your hard 6 hours your ready to publish it so the rest of the world

can applaud your efforts. You're very proud of this hub.

Somehow you feel this experience was something more. You feel you've figured something out but are not sure what exactly. Your finger is on the publish button, your finger nervousely over the mouse button when -

BUZ BUZZ BUZ BUZZ BUZ BUZZ-

You open your eyes and realize you are in bed and you just constructed a hub about your personal life but it was one amazing hub but you can't remember a lick of what was in it other than the work you just did ...And you didn't even get to publish it.. The deep void

in your stomach that its gone forever.. it was just a dream.. OMG you think, I'm dreaming in Hubtivity!!!

You shake it off and mourn your lost hub.. But when it happens again, and again.. You realize something.

Wait a minute. I'm not losing a hub. I'm improving how effectively I'm dreaming and resolving things in my head! You know.. You can resolve problems by writing a hub about it, complete with pictures. I use hub page building as an art form and a therapy. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with something, or I get frustrated with life. When my job hunt frustrated me I wrote about tolerance, and interviews, and the application. When someone attacked me unjustly I wrote about what he didn't understand and made hubs that became popular. Hub building is a great way to train your mind for discipline and much more!

When you start hubing in your dreams don't wake up disappointed (like I used to), wake up and realize that you hubbed away your problems in your sleep and you will have an aha moment later in the day resolving some issue you were stewing over. You may not remember when you wake up what you were "hubing" about but when you get that aha moment, and something clicks, the dream will come back to you and you will remember. It's kind of amazing really. The way you build capsules and hubs really trains you to think more disciplined.. It's habitual!
