Feeling of being home.

Jens thinks to her self, he must be writing about someone in Ireland, this sounded so interesting and its real lives, no wonder he has made it big. I had been editing mostly fiction storie's that this could rejuvenate my love for words. I was nearing my destination and the countryside was beautiful and so green and lush, it looked like a patchwork quilt from up here. I had this since of belonging almost hearing Ireland calling me home. the captain announced that we would be soon landing at Shannon airport in the town of Shannon a fairly new town to the old country of Ireland they named it after the river Shannon that runs north and south ,flying over the river reminded me of old fishing days I used to love to fish. My cell phone rings. ‘hello" I said the voice on the other end said "Miss Towne" I said yes this is Jenna Towne. The voice said "this is Stephen Lafarge". "Mr. Lafarge good to hear from you "are you at the airport yet" he said ,"no" I said we are coming up on it now" "good" he said, I'll have a driver pick you up and take you to the motel for your first night, I am a few hours away and its late so we can talk tomorrow' "great" "I said I'll look forward to seeing you" ,"good night" he said. Jenna was tired from the flight and looked forward to a good night rest and to get rid of her jet leg. She ordered room service and thinking what he must look like, she pictured him as a short man balding some and a little overweight from sitting so much. But she was never very good at picturing some one from there voice. She decided to get some sleep not knowing how busy of a day she would have and she like being at her best when working. The next morning she had breakfast at a local coffee shop, Jenna was pretty out going when she wanted to be ,she started up small talk with everyone she met, and the Irish were so happy to introduce them selves to her , she met some more Americans vacationing and started up conversations with them. The town was full of people, there was a market full of everything you could want and if I didn't know better, the island reminded me of what the Garden of Eden must have looked like in the beginning of time. I was in love with this magical beautiful land. When the folks would ask me my name they would say are you from here or say are from the town clan in this or that town. Some would say I should know you and I would comment that I have never been here before, and they would recognize my accent and apologize. This is a place that I could fit right in. I thought to myself that I really do blend in if it wasn't for my accent. My first day and I really do feel like I have made some new friends. On my way back to the motel, I felt as though someone had been following me, you know like when you look and nothing is there. as I turned back around from checking what was behind me, I run strait into this poor guy and he drops his bag from the market, I apology profusely and tried to pick up his vegetables. His name is Liam, and talk about good looking oh my gosh, he was polite even though I wasn't looking where I was going, and he apologized to me when I was the one who ran into him. He was hitting on me I think because he wanted to make it up to me by showing some of the sights since he noticed I was American and assumed I a tourist. I explained I was here on work detail, but maybe I could have a rain check if I received some free time. We exchanged phone numbers and I thought what the heck, see some sights during the day, what harm could that be. Anyways remember I'm not getting younger. If thought to myself he was so cute. Back to the hotel I go, saying hi to all the nice folks I met, and everyone saying hi to me using my name like they have been my friend for years. I'm thinking to my self maybe after I get done with assignment ill move here permanently, right now I feel as though I never want to leave.

Its about 10am check out time and no sign of Mr. Lafarge, finally at about 10:20 my phone rings and it seems he got caught up in his book and forgot about me, that's a author for you, I said "that's fine and said I had been running late myself" to let him off the hook .Mr. Lafarge asked me if I could grab a taxi and come myself, I said "that's fine but what is the address " he said "just tell them the old Hillshire Estate, and they will know what you are talking about" "ok" I said great I'll see you in a couple of hours, "until then" he said.
