Here is today's clue:

Dzisiejsze słowo ma pięć liter i jest angielskim imienem:

Syn Priama, albo dziedziczka fortuny hotelowej, lub "Miasto Świateł".

Congratulations to helenathegreat who solved this clue first. Today's topic is PARIS. (The clue was written in Polish and says - Today's word has five letters and is an English name: The son of Priam, or the heiress to a hotel fortune, or "The City of Lights".)

You have until noon tomorrow (Saturday, Pacific Time) to publish up to 10 high-quality Hubs, each worth 1 point, that must:

  • be on the topic of Paris - remember, keep it informative and useful, and not just a purely-personal account of your feelings/experience about Paris. It can be about anything commonly known as Paris. (here are just some examples "Nightclubs popular with expatriates in Paris", "Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) - Getting Around", "The Boyfriends of Paris Hilton", "Must-See Places in Paris for the First-Time Visitor", etc.)
  • include the tag paris
  • have at least 300 words (no credit for 299 so you might as well overshoot)
  • be unique and significantly different from any other Hub or Web page.

Of course, it must comply with our Terms of Use (not overly promotional, adult, etc.) Keep in mind that in judging, we're looking for Hubs that are informative, interesting, engaging and unique.

As always, we look forward to seeing the entries!

Also, look later in the day for the updated tally of points on the HubLove Contest page.

Present word has five letter as well is not english name-day : Son Priama , or come to fort hotelowej , or " city World ".

That is what I translated the clue into using internet resources.

This clue sucked.

Polish, with its numerous grammatical endings, does not lend itself well to online translators. :)

A Polish husband is better than an online translator...unless he's not around when you need him!

So, unless we knew Polish, we wouldn't have been able to decipher the clue anyway.

Nice to know. :(

Wendy there is one every day until March 14th. I believe.

It's ok gamergirl, I feel the same way. This one wasn't really fair. I tried to figure it with a translator, but didn't get anything.

I think it was a fair clue... I didn't put my answer in, but had gotten about the same place as gamergirl with the online translator, then guessed that "Son Priama" was one of Priam's sons, looked up his sons on wikipedia and was reminded of Paris (all I could think of before that was Troy and Hector), was ready to guess it and saw I was 2 minutes behind Helena. Maybe she knows some Polish, or maybe she just was faster searching on the computer and putting 2 and 2 together -- either way, that's how these things go.

Anything else I have to say regarding my opinion will only further the HP view of my being a great sore loser, so I will just say good luck to everyone who writes today and leave it at that.
