Where would we be today without our cell phones?  Trying to imagine my life without one just what would I do?

I wouldn't have anything to do while driving down the highway.  I certainly wouldn't be able to walk around the grocery store or down the street without other overhearing my mundane conversation  about my shopping list.

I wouldn't be able to text others a thousand times  when one phone call would do.

I wouldn't be able to let everyone in the movie theater hear my cool new YMCA ringtone.

I wouldn't be able to recieve fowarded text messages on truly awful jokes that target the disabled population.

I wouldn't be able to receive pictures or forwarded pornographic picture mails that everyone thinks is so cool.

I would be able to tune other actual people out while I pushed away at the buttons.

You get the picture. Sometimes technology is a nuisance rather than a help. I barely get three sentences out of my boyfriend's 16 year old son who is constantly talking on the phone or texting someone. When he is not texting someone he is on My-space. I think the technology is sucking the life out of people. Kids and adults get addict to the buton pushing and avoid building other skills. It is amazing that this sixteen year old boy can text three people simultaneously, but takes an hour and a half to do a two page report.

Oh I know the cell phones can be cool.  I am one who is attracted to the shiny new cell phones while browsing in radio shack.  They can have a lot of cool features on them like taking movies and pictures.  You can access the web and check your bank account, horoscope and the movie listings.  You can even reserve tickets.

There one cool thing That I will try one day.  Cell fire promotes free coupons you can get through the web on your phone.  I may hub about it later after i try it.  You are supposed to be able to scan the coupon on your phone at the check out.  That is great for me as I am  collector of coupons!

Technology is great when used the right way.  From what I have seen on my cell is that we make technology dumb.  It will only work the way we use it.

Speaking of dumb If you want a picture of  a beer bottle strategically placed near a woman's hind end  or to see some male genitalia being used as towel racks I got em.

Thanks for the hub request.  it was fun

ttul!!

I really enjoy my cell phone. How did we live without them? It seems like it's just normal to have one.
