Hubpage Newbie- Question #1

I am not going to lie, I am still very confused on how exactly hubpages works. I understand that content is king as with everything else on the internet. If you have good content it will drive people to your site (if they know about it) but I just don't understand what really makes one hub better than the next. Sure traffic to the hub is very important but how do you get that initial traffic if you don't already have a name set for yourself in the community?

Question #2

I am putting comment boxes under each paragraph so that all you pro hubbers can share some of your knowledge and shed some light on hubpages for me. Say you are a brand new hubber and you make your first hub. What are you going to do during the writing portion to make that hub get a good score?

Question #3

Okay, so now that your hub is made what can you do to get traffic to your hub?  Lets say that you really want the word out and for a lot of people to read your hub, what would be the best and most time efficient way to get the most people possible to find your hub?
