Sign-up Update

  • Since I wrote this Hub, my sign-ups have increased. I now have 92 sign-ups!!

  • These sign-ups translate into daily AdSense earnings for me on HubPages those Hubbers create.

If you've already joined HubPages and have gotten to know your way around, now is the time to make sure you are getting the most from your HubPages experience.

One easy way of earning more with HubPages is to tell others about HubPages. When they become writers at HubPages, you benefit.

Refer New Writers to HubPages

First, you'll want to sign in to HubPages, then, right next to your name, go to My Account, at the top of the page. Look to the right and down. You'll see: Your Hubs and Your Account in red. Click on URL Trackers.

You'll notice your tracking token. Go to the bottom of the page, where is says More Information. Click on the first bulleted item: How Does it Work?

The next page is entitled: Referrals earn rewards.

Go to the very bottom of the page on the right and click on: link to this page.

When the next page opens, at the top, you'll see your tracker. Below that you can grab either the URL or the HTML. Both will contain your tracking token.

* The HTML is the easiest to use because you don't have to hyperlink it. You grab it, in its entirety, and paste it. This works especially well in blog posts.

Each time someone joins Hubpages and uses revenue generating tools, you earn 10% of their Hubs' impressions. These are lifetime royalties! This is a revenue stream that just keeps on growing over time.

Is it Worth it to Refer Others to HubPages?

Using this one facet of HubPages, I now have 70 people who have signed up under me.

Take advantage of the Hubpages publishing platform and earn more when others sign up to HubPages.

* If you enjoyed this Hub, please share it and give it a thumbs up*

You can create a page like this and earn ongoing royalites. Please share your knowledge and ideas with the rest of us.

HubPages Sign-Up Secrets

  •  You'll want to attract HubPage sign-ups from people who know how to create pages. Targeting other writers or those who want to grow an online income is a good strategy because these are the people who will then go on to create a number of pages, thus helping your HubPages income to grow.
  • We've all heard of "tire kickers." It is to no purpose if someone signs up to HubPages and then never gets around to writing and publishing using the HubPages publishing platform.
  • If you have a writing-related blog, this is an excellent place to direct readers to the HubPages opportunity.
  • Make a goal of how many HubPages sign-ups you want to obtain. Keeping a number in mind will help you to stay focused on reaching that goal.

Is it worth it?

When you start to see your Adsense earnings gaining momentum, you'll see how HubPages sign-ups are another income stream set on auto-pilot.

You earn more when others sign up to HubPages. That's it, plain and simple. If you have joined HubPages, it is worth the effort to get others to sign up for HubPages. Why not earn each time someone creates a HubPage?

Thanks Rodney,

Yes, it can be confusing when someone is just getting started. I will be writing more articles in future.

Very helpful information. It took me ages to work out the tracking. Still learning bits and pieces. Thanks for that

Hi Eileen,

Yes, it can be confusing; however, if you hit "link to this page" your tracking token is included in the links. Note: remember: always sign in before linking to a page or your tracking token won't be included.

Hi Kohuether,

Yes, I've noticed a difference in my AdSense earnings since implementing this. HubPages is a great platform and you can earn from it, if you take the time to utilize all the methods for earnings.

The great thing is that you can keep tweaking your pages so that they are improved for the search engines.

I agree totally.  I have 35 signups - I'll will link to your hub from one of mine which talks about the benefit of referrals.  A good explanation.

PS: By the way, there is a formating problem with your Hub on Firefox.  After the first paragraph there is a big gap (roughly a screen and a half long in the left hand column).

Hi Rick,

I've updated my number of sign-ups and have tried to correct the formatting problem in this Hub--think I've got it.
