Share the Hublove
The hubpages contest is in full swing, and some of the authors are really pushing themselves to the limit and impressively are writing 10 hubs a day.
This poem is dedicated to those dedicated hub authors who each deserve the prize.
I have not been so dedicated, being from the UK therefore being ineligible to win the $5000.00 worth of prizes, although I have taken part with an average 2 hubs a day.
It is still a fun contest that has the hubpages community working together in harmony, taking part and from what I have seen so far having fun in the process.
THANKYOU HUB-MASTERS for this contest, it has brought a little excitement to our lives.
Write for me robots, 10 stories every day
I will pick the topic, do it you must obey
Love health and money it gets harder every day
For 30 days and 30 nights we write our lives away.
The hub-master has spoken; the prize is up for grabs
300 hubs in 30 days we must be bloody mad
The coffee pot's on overtime, our cup is always full
3000 words a day was easier when we were at school.
We sit here at our computers, staring blankly at the screen
Nothing in our heads bar the 5000.00 Dollar dream
Our eyes are glazing over our skin is sallow and pale
But those hubs we have to write, it's not in us to fail
Every day at noon, we gather in a pack
To find the hub-masters clue and we really must be quick
Mc7 is a master and in all but very few
Gets the word and gains the point, before we've read the clue
10 days of hublove have passed, and with 20 left to go
Who will last the pace, I really do not know
But every day we will be here through rain or hail or shine
Writing hubs and gaining points and that prize will soon be mine.
The contest is exciting, and points are hard to find
We write all day, we write all night, we are training up our mind
Our brains have turned to jelly, our eyes fixed in a stare
When we cant find the words we're pulling out our hair
Don't worry though my friends it will all be over soon
If it went on much longer we would be howling at the moon

Jimmy, I love it--and it is so true...my skin sallow, my eyes are glazed, my coffee pot is working overtime. An ad is blocking off the end of your first stanza--so, I missed those words.
