Hubpages and Digg
62Hubpages and Digg
Recently I have been doing the rounds reading blogs, which compare Hubpages and Digg,I dont understand how you can compare the 2 they are totally different sites, On Digg people submit links to external websites, people read them and if you are lucky they will digg your submission, and your submission will gain points,if you are really lucky your story will be featured on digg and you will get alot of diggs.
Hubpages on the other hand you have to create your own work,it has to be original, and not copied from other sites, yes your page can be rated ,useful or not useful, but to compare submitting links to a site to submitting your own work is crazy,it's like comparing Google to youtube they are completely different sites.
Can you make money on digg? yes and no is the answer, you cannot directly make money, but if you have submitted a site that you own and you have an advertising programme on your site then you could make alot of money from clicks as digg generates alot of traffic to your site if you manage to get featured on digg you could expect over 1000 visitors in the first few days and as a result of that your site heads to the top of search engines which guarantees, alot of visitors to your site long term.
On hubpages you can make money directly from your page with Google adsense,Ebay affiliation and Amazon affiliation. and like Digg you do get an instant readership,it can take a while for search engine ranking but submitting to digg can get alot of readers and help your site along.
Hubpages and Digg are 2 different websites, which do different thngs they should not be compared with each other, although digg is a useful site to hubpages users who can submit their stories there, they are both great sites and both easy to use, they can work hand in hand together and benefit from each other.
have fun.....jimmy

I think comparing these 2 are like comparing apples to oranges. Not really in the same league, and serving different purposes. Digg articles are forgotten over time after they hit front page. Here articles build momentum.
