Another Big Pickup for Huckabee

In a big move today Mike Huckabee announced that Ed Rollins would be named the National Campaign Chairman.

Rollins is a big figure in national politics, especially within the republican party. He was National Campaign Director to Ronald Reagan during the 1984 presidential election.

That campaign won Ronald Reagan 49 states. It was the most successful campaign in American history! That kind of campaigning power is going to add alot to Mike Huckabee's efforts.

Ed Rollins has worked for Presidents Nixon, Ford, and Reagan. He has served as Assistant to the President and White House Political Director. He also wrote a book called Bare Knuckles and Back Rooms: My Life in American Politics which made it to the top of the New York Times best seller list. He is currently the Chairman of the Rollins Strategy Group, a communications and crisis management firm with offices in New York and Washington, D.C.

All of the recent support, endorsements, and staff sign ons (like Rollins) are absolutely great signs for the Huckabee campaign. We will see if the momentum keeps on rolling for him. My guess is that it will.
