Hula Hooping as exercise

I just got done with my daily Hooping journey that I go on everyday! I think you would enjoy a hoop journey as well!
Sometimes the urge is really there to jump into my magical circle of happiness. Like today, I turned on some great tunes(Thump,WoMMp,BASS....) and I began to spin, dance, jump and fly around my living room to the music that was coming out of my speakers. I SO needed this today.
Hula hooping is not new, but the WAY people hoop now is surely different from back in the sixties.There is a total revolution(haha, I didn't mean to say that!). There are many, many ways to incorporate hooping into your daily workout or into your favorite dance routine. Everyday is different for me, some days I hoop just to hoop, some days I hoop for evercise. Like today I NEEDED to move, I needed to get my blood pumping so I decided to really go at it. I used my hoop as an extension of my body, as a tool for stretching AND dancing. It was great! It clears my head and brings me in the now, we all need that!
I always tell people that aren't as familiar with the new "Hoop Revolution" to just start typing in "hooping" and "hoopdance" or even just "Hula Hooping" into the You Tube search engine or in Google. You will be in for a feast for your eyes! There is some serious hooping going on in this world! There are a million ways to learn hoop tricks or even just learn how or where to get a hoop for yourself. You can learn how to make your own hoop too, if you feel like doing that.
I enjoy being in the circle everyday. Being outside hooping is my favorite thing to do in the sunshine! I would do it everyday if I could... but I live where it's still quite rainy.... I do hoop outside though, every chance I get! I had the chance to hoop ALL weekend, inside and OUT, I loved it! I had bruises on my hands and arms from hooping so much!
I encourage everybody to try this form of 'dance'. It's more than just exercise, it is a big, amazing extension of ones self!

I'm fond of hula hooping when I was younger that feeling is good it's just like exercising.

I love to hula hoop but haven't done it in years! I hear you on wanting/needing to move - it is so great to turn on the music and have some fun!
