Free Speech or slander?

The phenomenon of anti- social behavior on the web is staggering. My concerns with it started years ago. I am an inventor, a toy and doll designer and I study human behavior. It started in the early 1980’s with my toy inventions as part of a concept I was working on that dealt with social and moral issues. As I studied it, the rudeness in society has been on an escalating upswing. With each decade since my studies began rudeness, lack of morals and honor has become the norm everywhere.

I have never claimed to be Hemmingway on the web but I am a published writer which is more than most writers can say on the web. I never claimed to be the greatest writer because I am an inventor, artist and designer- and I admit there are times I make things sound rather kooky to test reading comprehensive skills. In addition, sometimes I write humor to see if I can lighten up the grumpy crowd. People seem immune to humor on the web. If there is one thing that has become clear in my studies, the people who spend the most time on the web are read the most. Often these same people will steal each other’s ideas, making the person who actually wrote something first- the last person read.

I cannot begin to count all the times I have written thoughts, ideas, or exposed my research and it is- picked up, and written about by major news channels. It is staggering the theft of information and I do not think people realize professional writers, and people in the position to get that idea read sit and scour the Internet looking for ideas. It has come to my attention the regular person is doing nothing but feeding the web, professionals and others who are in the position to get credit for your work. Everyone is studying, writing and downloading ideas. There are people who are paid to- pick up ideas.

For some of us there are times we do write and download things hoping it does get someone to pick it up- we hope at times a person in a position of power will do something positive with our thoughts. However, my research over the course of a decade reveals it does not work like that.

People will twist research, they will steal words, poetry, songs and ideas written to bring a more positive vibration and turn into a big download of negativity, or for no other reason than to "be seen" and for no reason other than to be the center of attention.

It appears the Internet has brought out the worst in humans. I have the research to back up this theory and it is pointing to chaos in humanity.

Many people seem to enjoy acting out aggressions in- a deep dark quest to prove they are somehow superior beings.

We- find it on every news related article. People getting online in disguises that they feel allow them to say everything and anything. People will take any story and somehow twist it in a quest to get attention, often making comments not related to the story or article written.

Part of it comes from people trying to make money online. People will do anything and everything to get attention, and it does not always concern money, in fact, my decade of online research reveals, most of it does not have to do with money it has more to do with attention seeking, control... My research has revealed (I study writing sites) the person who has a personal life out of control, no job, and little hope ends up being the person who is in the most controlling position on most creative websites. This is deeply troubling because instead of the professional poets, and writers, people who are trying their very best to bring forth calming algorithms are being beat down, words taken, cyber bullied and this is sending very negative algorithm on the web. Moreover, it is out of control at the moment and getting worse, as we find millions of unemployed, depressed and lonely people in the control position on the websites all over the Internet. For your information the last period of high bad algorithms, brought 911 so many of you may want to stop your wretched bad mood waves.

For example, I have written beautiful positive poetry and have found almost every time I download on a writers den, someone picks up my key words and what started as a positive feed often turns into something brutally sad, negative and heartbreaking. I have seen this happen time after time with some very talented writers, who do have the talent and ability to write- who are trying their very hardest to bring forth a positive, hopeful vibration to others- too often find their beautiful words twisted to filth, degradation and negativity. The sad part is too often the most talented, positive and enlightening individuals give up, while the cyber rude parties never do, and they move around from site to site daily.

Everyone wants to be the star on the Internet.

As the unemployment levels raise so has the cyber bulling behavior and it is now escalating to a point – of deep concern for humanity. They say the idiots are on television and the brains are on the computer- if this is the case then humanity is in deep chaos.

I am concerned as an inventor but I am concerned more as a human being.

People simply have no respect for each other.

Nor are they statistically interested in the real news, people are more interested in gossip, junk, and freakish human behavior. Everyone on the Web seems to have become a writer; it does not matter if the writer is offering useful information, by using aggressive tactics. Most of them are very experienced and since everyone is seeking approval, most are afraid of them because if they do not follow suit with them- everyone risks a poor review from that person.

Every day there are millions of new writers downloading millions of articles offering useless- information. Making it a virtual realm of staggering – volumes of bit bytes of nothing of importance and certainly nothing entertaining. Most of these people are suffering from a form of bi-polar disease called hypergraphia- (they cannot stop writing) and many are suffering from forms mental illness. Internet addiction is a serious disease that needs to be recognized and people seriously need treatment for it because it is a devastating disease. Someone needs to do this quickly= before the insane- destroy the world!

This has created a network on overload, with nothing but cyber chaos. Not only can none of us believe anything on the Web anymore- no one is willing to pay for anything on the Internet. Nor do we find most information believable.

This is making it almost impossible for the real news to get through. So my suggestion is this smile and be nice, watch your comments. The correct way to comment is – to remark on what is written= not yourself. Perhaps it is time the government does intervene on the web. Perhaps it is time everyone has to use his or her real photo, address and social security number. Perhaps it is time people are no longer able to disguise themselves as anything but who they really are. If this behavior is not regulative, it could mean the destruction of human kind. Yes, my studies indicate it is that bad.

A bad mood really is a contagious virus, and the people (like me) who work day and night to bring forth positive algorithms are beaten to a pulp and we are sick and tired of being kicked down by every mean, hateful person on the WEB! Stop it you are destroying the world and every bit byte of hope in it.

This writing was not written as a joke. I believe I speak for many when I say- rude and crude behavior on the Internet is a disturbing trend that needs to stop.

Please think with a smile. While you are here please read my other hubs. I work very hard to bring thought provoking, interesting information. I try to make them entertaining and interesting.

Thank you for reading,
