I spent many years preforming in human videos, and mimes I have learned some important things to make a human video successful.

1. Chose a song that will capture the entire audience. If you are preforming in front of children chose a song that the children can relate to, if preforming in front of youth chose a song the youth can relate to. If preforming in front of a general church service chose a song that will appeal to the entire audience. this means a song with clear words a clear message that will relate to every one, and touch every one's heart.

2. make sure your "team" or "group" dresses similer either the same style shirt, or same color so every one knows you are together. this is important for many reasons one it brings unity that you all have to wear the same thing. also if you are doing a video where you have team members sitting in the audience that walk up and joining you during the performance we know they are not just getting up to go to the bathroom.

3. make sure your team is aware of the "negative" before the character is introduced to the scene be sure they have a clear negative by standing facing with their backs to the audience arms down to the side and not moving, until it is their time to join the story. if there is not a clear negative there is question as to what the person is doing and take focus off the characters that are acting at that moment.

4. video taping practice should be a must, this allows all characters to see what they are doing right and what they are doing wrong.

5. remember every thing you do on stage needs to be 100 times bigger then in real life so the audience knows exactly whats going on. You do not want to leave the audience walking away asking what were they doing???
