If you've seen the hubbub about running your car on water, then you probably get the impression that water is supposed to be a replacement for gasoline. Well, that's not actually how it works.

I know there's a product being marketed at the moment that suggests using plastic parts in order to create a hydrogen generator very cheaply, but you are risking both your life and your car by doing so. Plastic cannot withstand an explosion if things go awry and it will absolutely melt at the high temperatures being output.

Also, keep in mind -- all of this stuff is experimental and requires some tinkering. Be sure to wear proper safety wear, especially safety goggles, and remove flamables from the area.
