A hydrogen fuel cell is an electrochemical conversion device.
This fuel cell takes water H2O and split's it up into two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen.
This hydrogen can then be used as an alternative to fossil fuels.

A vehicle that uses hydrogen as fuel for its motive power takes on many forms.
These vehicles can include cars, buses, motorbikes, trucks, airplanes, boats in fact any internal combustion engine can use hydrogen as a fuel.

Scientists already know that hydrogen and gives the highest effective explosives and exhaust velocity. That is why NASA uses hydrogen to power the space shuttle into outer space.
NASA also uses hydrogen fuel cells to create electricity on the space shuttle.
The beauty about using water and then converting it to hydrogen is after the explosion has taken place the resulting exhaust matter is just water.
NASA then uses this water as drinking water for the shuttle crew.

This technology is not new first internal combustion engine to run on hydrogen was designed over 200 years ago in 1807 by François Isaac de Rivaz.

Hydrogen fuel cells are needed to address the nation's most important energy challenges.
1. To reduce carbon dioxide emissions and you
2. To end out dependence on fossil fuels.

To make a simple hydrogen fuel cell you will need a wide mouth mason jar, two strips of plexiglass, stainless steel wire, stainless steel wing nuts, stainless steel bolts, plastic tubing, silicon,baking soda, an old cell phone charger and distilled water.

As you can see from the list above all you need a 12 components to create a hydrogen fuel cell. I will show you how to create this fuel-cell in less than one hour. This means that you will be making hydrogen gas within an hour. A word of caution hydrogen gas is highly flammable and precautions need to be taken. One day while experimenting with one of these hydrogen generators it blew up on me as I didn't take the proper precautions.
