Hypnotic are your whispers

Hypnotic are your eyes

Hypnotic are your tall tales

As you fill my heart with lies.

Frustrated with the language

You use to put me down.

The way you make me feel like shit

Whenever you're around.

Sometimes I feel I cannot breathe,

Or think I don't want to.

You tell me it's always my fault

And that it's never you.

I don't know where things went wrong.

How or when or who's to blame.

We keep trying to work on things

But everything's the same.

I Love you and I want you

But I just can't carry on

In revolving vicious circles.

Being together just feels wrong.

I hardly ever see you.

When I do it's always strained.

It seems our glass is empty,

The dregs have all been drained.

Nothing left to do then

But finalise our split.

Let's say what we knew months ago

And put an end to it.

I know it won't be easy

After three years of shared time.

Our hearts won't hurt forever

And you'll thank me down the line.

I thought we'd live and die as one

But it wasn't meant to be.

Whatever future lay ahead

Is on seperate paths for you and me.
