I went to hypnosis school in 1987 and soon after started doing hypnosis shows. My most successful shows were at Grad Nights. There is just something about that age group that is very receptive to suggestions. (Odd considering how hard it is to get our own teenagers to do anything).

I also noticed that the more extroverted a person is, the more likely they are to volunteer to be on stage. Once I had 12 or 14 chairs at a high school grad night show, and I found out later that all but 2 were filled with theater majors.

The hardest people for me to hypnotize are the left brain people...the doctors and accountants. The ones that have a big fear of being made to look silly. They just can't let go of control, not even for a minute.

I took these photos at my last hypnosis show, which happened to be a backyard party. During a show I'm usually too busy to take any photos. I thought I'd share the few that I have on my hard drive.
