Are You Concerned About Your Blood Sugar?

If you are concerned about your blood sugar, chances are you have been having some symptoms that aren't very fun.

Fatigue, irritability, moodiness, phobias, dizziness, forgetfulness, crying spells, and headaches are just the tip of the iceberg for the symptoms you could be having.

Now these symptoms could mean some different conditions also, this is why many people who have hypoglycemia often go undiagnosed, simply because the symptoms are so general and point to several different conditions.

That is pretty frustrating by itself! Add the symptoms on top of that, and then other peoples reactions to your symptoms, and this is why many people experience depression also.

When you are experiencing these symptoms, they can become quite debilitating. Other people can tend to not be sympathetic, and say things that just irritate you more. I have heard the one," If you just exercise more, you will feel better!" from quite a few sufferers. Apparently exercise is the end all be all of hypoglycemia!

The Importance Of A Good Hypoglycemia Diet

Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar. Low blood sugar means the cells and organs in your body aren't getting enough energy to perform their functions correctly. This is why you are having all of these horrible symptoms.

Low blood sugar can be controlled with a good hypoglycemia diet. Many people don't realize that alcohol plays an important roll as well. If you are hypoglycemic, you really need to stay away from alcohol.

I am not saying that a good hypoglycemia diet will cure you. What I am saying is a good hypoglycemia diet will help relieve some of your symptoms, if not most of them.

Not only are the symptoms often hard to see but it has very often been misdiagnosed, at least in the past. Some years ago I had a friend with hypoglycemia who had been continually misdiagnosed. When they finally discovered what was really wrong, her physician told her she would have been dead in three days if they hadn't found the correct diagnosis.

More people need to learn about this health problem. It can cause serious difficulties in many areas of life, including family problems.
