Hypothyroidism during pregnancy tips
61Pregnancy is something that most of the couples are going to in a moment or another and you want to be sure and safe that you're going to do the best thing for your child and to be healthy so that the kid is going to be healthy to.
So, what's going on with hyperthyroidism and why I have related it with pregnancy and whatsoever - the basic idea behing this is that's going to just complicat pregnancy and you may risk misscariage - in this case you could loose your baby and you don't really want this to happen, so you have to make something before this is going to happen and to be sure you're going to give birth to a healthy baby.
Premature delivery of the baby
In the case of hypothyroidism you may have to know that there are many things that could happen - things like premature delivery of the baby and other nasty unhealthy stuff that could have a big impact of the health of the baby along his life - so, it's better to take care and do something with the disease before getting pregnant. Here are a few steps you may take in order to get rid and control this disease:
- visiting the doctor is the first thing you have to do, this in order to be sure you're not having any more problems - you have to to regularly to the doctor (if you want to get pregnant and when you are pregnant), just to be sure. If you find you have something (just like hypothyroidism) then you may want to go to take a treatment, not to have any more problems in the future.
- thyroid hormone levels - you're going to take some sort of thyroid hormone replacement and because of that you may have to monitor your thyroid hormone levels, just to be sure you're not going to have any more problems in the future.
- do your exercises that you have to do for pregnancy - in the case of hypothyroidism you may have some sort of problems or you may feel some fatigue, but you need to continue what you're doing if you don't want more problems because of it).
- prenatal vitamins - this are good to take in order to absorbe the thyroid hormone replacement well, but be sure not to make any mistakes and see a doctor before you're doing things on your own.
