I have followers who enjoy Nascar. So when I ran across a website dealing with Nascar and related topics I thought I should probably do a little piece about it here so they would know. Much of what I am paid to write is published without a byline and a lot of it is just bought and published God-knows-where. They don't tell me.

(Then again, I don't feel alone.    I am sure a lot of people get a paycheck but are rarely if ever given any positive feedback.

Might just be like my social life since my divorce. The women don't always tell me anything because I am just supposed to know how good I am. . .but, I digress. . .)

Nascarvoice.com is "the Nascar voice of today and yesterday."

It is a fairly new site that focuses on Nascar. It includes articles on Nascar owners, Dale Earnhardt and more. One specific piece discusses the Sprint Cup Series. Previously known as the Winston Cup Series, it is now "the number one racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing."

According to the author, Nascar "is ranked one of the five most popular professional sports in" the country and last year had "over 17.8 television viewers." Nascar has been popular since shortly after World War II. With vehicles that now go up to 200 miles per hour the series will remain popular.

(I hope you enjoyed hearing about another Nascar website.

I hope you weren't disappointed. I know my work is often a bit more "racy".)

My name is Phoenix and. . .that's the bottom line.
