For one it is the only site I have come across that you can actually make money off of that will never ask you for a cent. It's not a scam and they pretty much tell you everything you need to know to make money using the site. But besides that, you get to write about almost anything you want. You can blog about Awkward Moments till your heart is content and still make money!

Well for one, the diversity of the people utilizing the site is incredible. You can find just about everything right here, hence it's a hub. Since hubpages is an affiliate of Google and utilizes adsense to generate profit, it is really easy to get your work recognized by search engines which means you have a better chance at getting traffic to your pages, which means you also have a better chance at getting people to your websites as well.

Besides that signing up as affiliates of Adsense, Amazon, Ebay and Kontera is super easy. Hubpages is kind enough to lay it all out for and help you through the process so you don't become overwhelmed and quit before you even had a chance. Using these affiliate programs is mostly how hubbers make their income.

There are some key tools you should use to place well in the hubpages community to generate more profit and to get your work noticed. It starts in just a few easy steps but I do recommend reading the HubPages Overview first before writing your first hub. However I know most people are ready to just get started. With that in mind, I will give you a couple of helpful tips to get you on your way.

Caution: becoming a member of the hubpages community is addictive. We have lost several hubbers to addiction and destroyed many families in the process! That was a joke btw.

1. Decide what you want to write about. Hubpages love original content but is not so friendly with plagiarism and or duplicate content. So pick something you know about, experience is always good and get creative. It's all about you... and making money too!

2. Key words. Key words are important. If you don't know what they are then hubpages will give you suggestions but if you would like more tips on keyword search let me recommend Peter Hogan or Yoshi97 they should get you off to a good start as far as that goes.

3. Have fun. I know I have a hard time getting through anything that lacks any sort of creative luster. Then again I fall asleep watching movies I really like too sooo...

4. This is very, very important to starting yourself off on the right foot. Do not spam! I can tell you right now that if you are new or even old and start spamming the forums or other peoples hubs, you wont get a very warm welcome. Why? Well try it and find out but I don't recommend it.

5. To get attention without being coined a "spammer" and leaving a terrible taste of bologna in people mouths who will likely never come visit you because of it; I suggest making your presence known in the hubpages forum. I am more then sure you will bump into a lot of interesting people and if you play your cards right... do I need to finish this sentence?

Misha: Besides his hubpages status as MetaGod and Saint he makes me laugh. He is from Russia so there is a language hurdle to get over sometimes so I will never forget when he said he thought that ROTFLMAO meant, "rolling on the floor laughing my as* out". I still laugh. Besides that he is honest and direct, he loves the ladies... hint, hint ladies, and loves driving!

Mark Knowles: Whateva! He certianly makes for interesting and very entertaining conversation as well as a pallet that is to die for now "buy a damn skillet".

Jenny Ford: Aka Inspirepub. At first I though screen name was a reference to drunken inspirations but after getting to know her through hubpages, her publications are extremely inspiring hence Inspire Pub...lications! It's hard to decide which of her hubs are my favorite so I will just go with this one,Manifesting- The Power To Create. However her series on Young Entrepreneurs is pretty good too.

Sparkling Jewel: She was my very first fan on hubpages when I joined over two years ago. She was the first to understand me and the first to talk to me here. She was the first to read any of my hubs and the first person who actually wanted to get to know me. And for this I will never forget her and admirer her for the way she accepts herself, how she has handled her life and how she keeps on truckin' against the odds.
