The Flip Video is a Godsend

I have 2 digital cameras plus the one with my cell phone available to shoot my videos but I'm too lazy to use them. Seems like a hassle to upload to my laptop, what with cables, software, etc. I finally found the solution. I bought the Pure Digital Flip Video camcorder on my last trip to Las Vegas.

It's small, cheap, simple to use, no cables, has a built in USB and software to upload to my laptop. It uses AA batteries but best of all, it is fun to use.

Following are some of my own videos, which have been uploaded to Youtube using my Flip Video camcorder. (The included software allows you to upload a self-created video to Youtube in minutes.)

Shooting on Fremont St in Las Vegas

With all the glitter and extreme lighting in Vegas, this video still turned out to be decent. The built-in mic picked up the loudness of the motorcycles fairly well.

Zoom feature

Using the zoom feature, it worked out pretty well. You can see manufactured suggested price on the price list on the window of the Toyota Matrix, which is one of 35 prizes given away in the latest Tim Horton's Roll Up The Rim contest.
