I Saw Someone Fly A Kite

Today as I was taking my dogs for a walk, I spied some children flying their kite. It was actually a very calm evening so I was surprised to see it up in the air. Then I came to realize that there was a current higher up in the sky. Once they were able to reach that current, the kite flew on its own. The two were able to launch the kite into this current of air by running while letting the string out until the wind got a hold of the kite. Isn't that how many things in this life is like? Running until you catch it?

I stood there in amazement and watched as the kite lifted off. It was fun to hear the children laughing and it brought a smile to my lips. Briefly, the delicate kite made of paper and the merriment pulled childhood memories from the dark recess of my mind. For a few seconds, I felt like a child again. But, alas, it all has escaped me now. Back to the doldrums of everyday life.

The thoughts you had created this hub. Thoughts can create doldrums or thoughts can create excitement, hope. Our thoughts is the place where we can make changes that carve out our future. The good news is it's still FREE.

Regards..

Maybe it's time for you to go and try it yourself. The only thing stopping you from being in that park with your own kite is you...

We have kite festivals every year on our beach. It's amazing the amount of fun you get just out of holding a piece of string with a triangle on the end of it. I think it provides a bit of escapism. I might try a stunt kite next.
