I am sorry Mother
64 When I was child I used to write SA on mother. The data I used was a general one like " My mothers name is XYZ. She is a house wife.......and so on. That was ok for school days. But after that I never thought of the SA and never had an opportunity to write one also. I am not going to write one S.A. here.
I tried to think when I last think about Mothers Day? I don't know may be 2-3 years back. I never forgate Valentine Day, Chocolate Day. Friendship Day and lots. But I did forgot Mothers Day
Why i forgot Mothers Day?
Frankly speaking I don't know the answer. But I guess may be because Mother is always there for me from my child hood to until now. And Peoples use to forget those peoples who are always there for them. I always take my mother granted. I never thought she might not be there for me. She is always been there and she will be there this thing I know. But I have done very wrong by forgetting Mothers Day.
When my mother wasnt there for me?
It never happened. My mother was always there for me. Before my birth till today. And i pray to god that she will be there till I die. Every mother do everything possible for her child. My mother stood behind me in my bad times and my good times. I have Birth Asthma. My first 13-14 years were nightmares for me. I used to have a sure attack each night. And whenever I had attack I found my mother woke up with the medicine for me. She used to woke up nights for me. I had once a Feat due to Asthma attack. My mouth was getting closed and if it got closed I might have died that day but my mother put her finger between my closing teeth's and saved my life. There are numerous such occasions when my mother was there for me.
Why we celebrate Mothers Day?
One question to everyone why you celebrate Valentine Day? Friendship Day? When we have a treasure called Mother with us. Why not Mothers Day? Mothers Day should be the most priority day for everyone out here. I don't think we should buy her a palace, because she doesn't expect such things. But we should let her know how much she is important in our Life. That's the main point about Mothers Day.
What i am going to do on this Mothers Day?
I know she doesn't expect anything special from me. And still she will be there always for me.But I am making a promise to myself now that now onwards each year on Mothers Day I will meet my mother give her bunch of roses and let her know how important she is for me. Let me be anywhere in the world.Because Mother is the Gods gift for each one here.
What you can do on this Mothers Day?
Dont try to impress your Mother by buying her expensive gifts. But Be there for her on this day. Share a day with her. And let her know how you Love her.

Beautiful piece. I don't think you are alone in forgetting especially when we get older and our lives our so hectic, we tend to push things aside which we take for granted. I have to say my mother never expects or wants any gifts, but she does expect us to remember. So we do. Because if we don't at least call first thing in the morning, we don't hear the end of it. If you could take the time to put this to paper, then I know that your Mom knows you love her.
As a Mom of adult children, I know that they have their own lives and that's all any parent wants for their kids is to be independent of them and happy. By the looks of your hubs you seem content and happy. Don't feel guilty...just spend some time with your Mom and she'llo think that's the best gift you could ever give her is your time...I know that's what i cherish, now;-)

This year for the first time I forgot my mother's Parsi Birthday. (We celebrate the english calender and the parsi calender one) I can not tell you how lousy I felt when she called up around lunch time and asked me to wish her.
