The Story so Far
In mid December of 2008 I weighed about 205 pounds
At the end of January 2009 I weigh 197.8 pounds
Only thing different in the last 3 months that I have done is to consciously reduce how much worrying and stressing over life, work, relationships
I have already gotten myself down to a soda or two a week average
I had read where your stomach is about the size of your clenched fist, I work to eat smaller portions, going the appetizer route and side orders at restaurants, etc.
I wish I walked a lot more often, it would help more I bet
But even with my car towed to the shop 2 days ago with the same symptoms as last month which cost me $500 to repair, a boss that personality wise is not a good fit, and life, I consciously work to curb my pessimistic (overly realistic) and cynical view with just not worrying, and starting back into my meditation.
I am interested how it will all turn out. I have no weight loss goal, at age 19 I weighed 145 pounds, in 2005 I was still fighting to stay under 190.
I also turn 46 in the First Quarter of 2009
UPDATE: Still maintaining the same weight, give or take a pound. Need to increase the water intake, flush the system, flush out the negative along with replenshing the body.
Update March 2009: back to 200 pounds. Relatives visiting, no walking, portion control still intact mostly except for company.
