I attend weekly auctions to find items to sell on ebay. I usually go to a preview where I write down the items available and research them for hours. I have found some great diamonds in the rough by locating items that most people don't look twice at. About a year ago I was previewing when I came across a pile of clothes. I usually skip right past clothing but something caught my eye...panties! Maybe it was some leftover pre-pubscent curiosity that prompted me to investigate but whatever it was it paid off big. I wrote down the names of the undergarment: van raalte and vanity fair, and their colors. The price tags were still pinned on and were originally marked at $3.99 so I knew they were old or "vintage". I drove home, researched the goods and prepared for my panty raid!

I figured each pair was worth on average 30-45$ based on similar ebay items. I did not factor in their condition or the fact that they still retained the original price tag. I figured I would go as high as $100 but I was sure I wouldn't have to go that high.

I was a little nervous that someone else may bid against me but I was fairly certain nobody else would have invested the time in research that I did on underwear. The auction moved along briskly and I ended up getting the pile for $8.

I listed them on Ebay that night and when I woke up there were 5-10 people watching each pair.By the third day I was getting questions about their condition and where I bought them. Quite a fever was building up. By the 5th and final day the bids were up to 1200 and I was amazed. When the auctions colsed I had sold my panties for $2200. One pair sold for $300.

THe funny thing is that for most of my life I was chasing women to get in their panties when in truth I should have been just trying to get the panties!
