Find out what it is that you enjoy and do that.. Surf the net and look up your interest. Whether it be Health related, Photography, ART, etc. being an independent distributor for big companies is a great way to start off.

What interest you the most? Also when you find out what it is you want spread the word. Here's a few website for you to do that and lastly I'll leave links of what I'm doing but first also consider these for advertising when you get you business up and running.

• Writing articles and publishing them on ezine article directories

• Write messages on a free blog from blogger or wordpress, promoting your product (but how do you get people there?)

• Read other peoples' blogs and post comments back, with a link to your blog that you created that promotes your product

• Use social bookmarking - great way of getting people there.
