IM SOCIALLY NETWORKED OUT!!!
62Okay, well maybe I'm not quite done with it yet, but can you say WOW! Check this, I have finally learned, and I mean really learned, how to TWEET. And, I just learned today. For the longest I wasn't sure what the difference was between a tweet and a text and, I really did not care. NOW, wow, for someone like me - tweeting is the next best thing to that million dollar marketing campaign that I sweat over every time I walk into my office. OMG, this is soooo much fun. Okay, now, I'm a professional. Got all the credentials. Bachelor's, Masters, certifications - blah blah blah...that's great - but THIS -- tweeting, facebooking - this is like the course I didn't get when I used to have to wipe the crust out of my eyes to attend those Saturday morning GECs (that's general education courses for those that don't know) that I hated beyond belief but needed to graduate. WHERE WAS TWITTER when I needed to get in touch with my prof at two in the AM to let him know I was too hung over to attend class and could he please forward me my assignment. WHERE WAS TWITTER???
I know I sound a little out of it, but you have to understand - I'm excited. I still feel like I just discovered oil or some other financially accomodating element designed to aid me in my every day. Now, I must warn you - these social networking sites - they are addictive. Twitter is the epitome of rehab and can be your eventual demise - IF, you're not careful.
Do you know that Twitter has chat rooms? Yes chat rooms. Twitter has a unified room that brings Facebook and Twitter together. YES. Both Facebook and Twitter. Facebook has Blackberry applications that allow me to sleep with my Blackberry so that I never, I SAID NEVER, miss a Twitter or Facebook Friend's message again. Because, I can never be to far away from my network.
I'm out of breath. I have so much to do. So many @messages to respond to. So many tweets that need responding - what do I do. Well, I guess I'll wait for the battery to run out on my laptop - YES, my battery runs out! And once it does -- It's lights out! Until tomorrow. I wonder whose tweeting me right now? Hmmm.
