Frequent Questions

Q: How do I know if my beneficiaries will actually get the money in my IRA?

A: The best way is to ask the company who is holding your IRA to send you a copy of the IRA Beneficiary declaration(s) they have on file.

A: You will also, need to get a copy of the custodial document and review what will happen with your IRA when you pass away.  This, with the help of an IRA Technical Expert, can be quick.  If you have questions or concerns let us know.

General Information

We at CalRima are committed to what is important to our customers.  Some of our customers report that sorting out how to pass money to their beneficiaries is important.  Some customers report that knowing they have enough money to outlast their retirement is the most important item.

Regardless of what is important to you, we can and will suppor you in having what you need or want in your life.

http://www.calrima.com - gives more information about the extensive training we have secured regarding how to manage your IRA, specifically the custodial documents.  As one of Ed Slott's Master Elite IRA Advisors, we take extra care to ensure your IRA accounts are set up properly.  We have over 100 points on our check lists.  How many check points did your current advisor use?  It may not be that important, you can always go back to work if there was a mistake made.
