I hate politics and I hate politicians.

My guess is that you are looking forward to the coming election year with as much enthusiasm as I am. Most people that I know are completely disgusted with the whole American political scene. It would be laughable if it were not so tragically true that most American's have given up any hope that there could actually be a candidate or a party platform that had any substance or that could offer any real change.

I'm not the only one who is nauseated by all of the "pretty boy" media darlings that capture the headlines and attention of the "talking head", anti-American, boob-tube, wind bags. (I'm sorry were you thinking about a name that sounds like Lian Billiams?)

I'll admit it. I hate American politics. My disdain for politics and politicians is only exceeded by my utter loathing of national television "news reporters" who pass themselves off as journalists. Over the years, I've lined up most closely with the Republican party, but as the party heads toward nomination things look bleak.

However, there is one BRIGHT light standing in marvelous contrast to the gathering gloom of this present swarm of candidates.

That one bright light is Ron Paul. He calls himself a constitutionalist and he stands far above every other candidate. I'll tell you how much sense Ron Paul makes. He makes so much sense that the media moguls who seek to rule and sway public opinion , consider him ignorable.

Listen, if the American media considers you insignificant, its a sure sign you are on the right track. Nothing could be more indicative of the "rightness" of a political candidate than the fact that left wing liberal media elite think he is wrong.

I am hopeful when I see that a lot of tech-savvy Americans, mostly young, have noticed Ron Paul. Is it possible that a new generation of thinking and reasonable people have come of age having escaped the brain washed control of the networks?

Image it. An entire demographic that actually thinks for themselves. Such a group would be drawn to a candidate who appeals to reason and who calls for sanity in public policy. Such a group of thinking young people would explain the growing grassroots, internet driven momentum of the Ron Paul campaign.

So, maybe there is hope.
