If God is All Powerful, Omniscient and All Righteous, then why does He not stop the injustices of this world?

My God is a God of Righteousness

Why do so many people out there believe that we serve a God of "Change"? The God who created the universe and everything in it, who came down to earth as man, who went to the cross to wash away the sin of the world, and who live and reigns for ever more, is not a God who changes his mind.

Just after His crucifiction and His return to the Throne of the heavenlies, God gave a vision in writing to John. It was called the Revelation. It was a preview of what was still to come in His plan for us all. Some of was joyful and exciting and the rest was horrific and scary. All was revealed and all will happen. God will not change his mind.

If we go back to Lot and his escape from Sodom & Gomorrah we read that Lot tried to barter with God. He claimed that if they could find at least one righteous person in the whole of the region would He, being God, save the two towns. God's answer was positive. He knew that there was not one who He could call righteous.

Even Lot's wife wasn't righteous as she looked back, when commanded not to, and turned into a pillar of salt.

What God has predicted is going to happen and is happening right now..These so called "injustices" happening in the world today have been forecast. They were predicted before you and I came into being.

It isn't that the innocent are suffering for something they are doing wrong, it is those who are not obeying God that are bringing His wrath upon all.

In an accident it may take two wrongs to happen but in most cases it is one innocent that suffers because of the one guilty. God has His reasons for what happens to us. He states He will protect us always. And He does. We just don't see it that way.

The way we live, the way we see life, the bad habits we have produced or given life to, are not in line with what God has predestined in our lives. One we have taken stock of our lives and see what God is calling us to do, and we start doing what He wants us to do, we too will see that what we classify as injustice is just something God predicted would happen.

Our God is a God of love, peace, joy and all we see a nice and comfortable. However, He is also a God of wrath. We are not "door steps" as the world would have us believe. We are created in His image. He didn't go into the Temple, overthrow the tables and chase out the people who were treating God's home as a market, just because He felt like being nasty. He did it because He had righteous anger within Him. He wanted the people to see they were not door mats to be stood on and shoes cleaned off of.

God is a God of Righteousness. He is still All Powerful. He is still Omniscient. He does see the happenings of the world. He does weep with the angels when He sees His people hurt and angered. He still walks beside us. He stills picks us up when we become tired or become ill. He still loves us unconditionally. He is still God!

God is indeed a God of Love. He DOES NOT PUNISH or unleash his wrath!! He did however give us the freedom of choice. It is the human who chooses to do wrong and then it is the human who must live with the consequences. Unfortunately the wrong doing of our fellow man impacts on us, like crime/murder/rape.

MMM, that was Abraham who asked GOD if HE would destroy the righteous with the wicked (Genesis 18th Chapter).

Obedience to GOD is following HIS ordained Paths of Righteousness that HE established even in the BEGINNING. There is evidence that Adam, Noah, and Abraham all knew of GOD's Ways of Righteousness. So, also did the Children of Israel, but they not only rejected GOD's LAW, but they rejected HIM, as well. And as a consequence, GOD scattered them from HIS Land to go into captivity. At the same time, GOD left HIS Holy City and HIS Holy Land and gave HIS Earth into the hands of rulers who also couldn't care less about HIS Righteous Laws, Statutes, and Judgments - all because of the great sins and abominations of HIS Covenant People, the Children of Israel. As we well know, man has invented one religion after another and neither of them has brought peace to this Earth.

However, a CHANGE will come, and in fact it is promised, but the CREATOR GOD is waiting on us to make the first move!

"I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early." Hosea 5:15

"For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles." Isaiah 66:18,19

"And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD. For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh." Isaiah 66:20 - 23
