I was riding in the car and heard that song by Ludacris and T-pain... If I Have One More Drink and it started me to thinkin... Do people really get that messed up that they see something in people that isnt really there?? For example, does alcohol effect tghe way they see someones appearance and physical features???

Now, I'm not a heavy drinker... don't get me wrong though, I've tied a few on. Even though it affected my judgement on occasion, I still saw people for what they were in the looks department. The alcohol did make them more fun to hang out with. I think alcohol is used as an excuse sometimes to make it seem like the decision made was an uncontrollable thing... one  that it couldn't be helped. When in fact, it was just a dumb decision they regret and want to lay the blame somewhere other than themselves.

I think alcohol loosens you up, makes you less tense and allows you to show a side of youself that you dont normally show. I am a natural worrier... I worry all the time about things I can control and things I can't. If i'm stressed over things I might go out and have a few drinks to relax. I dont see anything wrong with drinking if you can be responsible. Not only having a designated driver but be responsible in all things. Don't spend your money that needs to go towards something else, stay away from tattoo parlors... that kind of thing. I have known people who have taken their last few dollars and used it for a good time rather than spending it on things they need. For example, if you need toilet paper or food for your kids, don't spend it on booze. (yeah.. I'm talkin about you... you know who you are... Mr. went out to get toilet paper and came home with beer) Anyway, you get my point... I hope.

I think we as society use many things to excuse bad decisions we have made, be it drugs, alcohol, whatever. Grow up and take it like a man. We all screw up! Owning up to your mistakes shows character. Using mistakes as learning tools to ensure you don't make the same mistakes time and time again shows GOOD character... and that's what's up.
