Who would I be...If not for my Anonymity...
I am the quiet one...the one you never see...
Yes...I am anonymous...to everyone but me...
And that is fine...That way I choose who I want to be...
Tell me...Do I just blend in with all the scenery...?
It is nothing new...I am used to it by now...Most Assuredly...
I have come to a point where my anonymity...is so much a part of my strategy...
And no one will be the wiser of that which I keep to myself...internally...
No...Don't worry about me...I am free...lost in my own anonymity identity...
Free...because you never knew me anyway...you never heard my plea...
I sat alone and called to you...in love...my voice...drifted out to sea...
And so it would seem that you and I...were never meant to be...
Yet...that never mattered to you...you never even noticed me...
Alone with my feelings...Is nothing new you see...
You left me to be alone...never to reach you...continually...
Born...a simple man...with few desires...but the ones that will never be...
I sit here now...in sadness...as I take a knee...
And offer to you this prayer...In the night air...my words all flee...
Help...me stay a simple man...as you have called me to be...
For...I am...who I am...though few...don't truly know that much about me...
And look...all around...do you see what I see...?
Oh...It's Nobody...Just me...surrounded in my own anonymity...

Anonymity is that little ol' pepple keeps jumpin into my shoe. Findin' out who I am all over again everytime I put my foot down hard, there's that little pebble. Ouch! Humble or too humble - I don't worry about you - you have the good words, man.
